For immediate booking, but you can see a couple of rocks 50 yds from the shore is a good place to start bleeding where caves and lava formations are breathtaking.
Its popularity is advisable to arrive early because parking can fill realfast, travels frequently Scuba moving here, so it might not be the only one in the water at any given time. Unless you're in the winter when the waves pound the beach and diving is not recommended. But do not get the wrong idea, this is a very safe place to dive when conditions are right, in the summer.
Sea life in this series Massive dumping of sea turtles, lobsters, crabs Hermet, octopus, puffer fish and eels and the typical occasional pod of dolphins, sharks and rays. On the right side of the bay, as the turtles are fed algae on the rocks and soon after, when the protective environment ends when fishermen throw from the shore, so if you end up in that area, caution is recommended.

Dolphins in danger - an emerging threat to their survival
Dolphins are one of the most amazing creatures of nature. They are known for their intelligence, their desire to play, and altruism. Unfortunately, many species of dolphins are threatened or endangered. As human beings we must do more to care for these precious animals to be taken to ensure their survival. There is much we can learn from them, and much we do not understand these creatures. Contemporary threats include destruction of endangered dolphins in their naturalhabitat, fish and dolphins accidentally lead the hunt.
While commercial whaling is banned and heavily regulated by many parts of the world, there are countries that are not in complete agreement. Recently, Japan is under control for the preservation of an area to capture dolphins for their meat. The movie "The Cove" was screened last year, which brought the matter to the attention of much of the western world, namely riding hunting of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. However, there is running dolphin hunting since ancient times. Taiji is an important issue because in recent years have been increasing production of meat from whales and dolphins.
hunting, riding and hunting whales dolphins are just one of many threats. species like the Ganges river dolphin and Yangtze river dolphin is functionally extinct or are endangered. In many cases, people are to blame, because the rivers have been damaged by pollution andDolphins> are killed by fishing or boating. Also, dolphins are often victims of tuna fishermen, although old techniques for catching tuna would have killed the victim to kill a much greater number of dolphins that using current methods. However, the albacore is still the only "dolphin-safe tuna as a type of fishing techniques used to catch tuna are very different from other species of tuna.
Another threat isrecently, the emerging Western trade with the Japanese whalers in Taiji and other areas known practice dolphin drive hunt. Traders in search of affordable meat are used as food, or even as a substitute for tuna need to look beyond consider dolphin meat. One site claims to trade with the Japanese to buy dolphin meat to be used as a substitute for tuna with American school children. According to the site, "... the dolphins have been killed and shipped to America schools as a superior alternative to tuna. "
Any rational person should be outraged by this blatant disregard for the sanctity of intelligent life. We can not allow this kind of abuse and exploitation of animals to continue. This strange creatures should be protected at all costs. I ask people to do some research in question and resist the Japanese. They must be held accountable like the rest of the world for cruelty to animals and threatened.Dolphins> are intelligent creatures, not unlike humans. In the United States or Europe, would not allow a lab rat or a chimpanzee to undergo this barbaric process, let alone be very intelligent. Why should Japan be allowed to participate in such practices?

Attention Taiji, the dolphin slaughter Will Be Stopped
Pressure in the efforts of Taiji dolphins to increase rapidly to stop the annual slaughter of over 26,000.
Thousands of dolphins are caught every year in Taiji, Japan. Most strong and healthy were taken to aquariums and marine parks around the world and the rest are simply slaughtered for their meat.
Taiji has come in recent American media attention after a 2009 documentary, The Cove, which shed light on the massacre annual migratory dolphins are driven into a hidden cove then netted and killed by spears and knives. The water is bright red from all the bloodshed.
Ric O'Barry, activist lead in the Oscar-winning film, The Cove, has a new series, Blood Dolphins on Animal Planet.
Dolphin activists around the world converge on the city, including Michael Dalton of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Sea Shepherd rescued fifteenDolphins> in 2003, having cut the nets and release back to the open ocean.
"If a hundred people could be present throughout the ordeal faced by these dolphins, killing can be greatly reduced if not completely stopped," said Dalton.
Although the Japanese Coast Guard has stepped up their response, threatening to arrest anyone who interferes with the fishermen, the massacre has yet to begin.
"Our plans will depend on the actions of the fishermen. Ifthey plan to start killing dolphins, then we need action, "said Dalton.
The increasing pressure to stop the slaughter in Taiji, and will continue to have a negative impact on the local economy for the annual killing has stopped.
"The key to saving the dolphins for people to be constantly in Taiji, so slaughter is not allowed to go out of sight of cameras and witnesses," said Paul Watson, captain of the Sea Shepherd ship, and is known for whaleWars, a reality television series on Animal Planet.

The dolphins of Taiji - A Murder Suicide
With great energy to this noble fishermen, spear held aloft, on their yacht to wear. Although not in costume or manning the canoes small barrel of their ancestors, about 26 women somersaults in their pots on the edge of steep cliffs. This year, like every year, the small fishing village of Taiji in southern reach of the major Japanese islands to prepare for what some see as the most barbaric and cruel seasons. Although the tradition sometimes metesharsh reality of our lives smoother and more prosaic, but this seems a bit 'hard character of colleagues and the people who brought us the peaceful sounds of nature haiku and Shinto worship. The networks are used to loud noises and creatures of the coral that once and are regarded for their intelligence and their balance and copper-like, moist flesh in a shallow bay where they are at once beaten, impaled and eviscerated. Tastefully obscene, his barbed gafs the service of men likethreshing the water, stabbing, punching the sprocket and the writhing creatures. We haul in their boats loaded with meat and subsequent death of comrades, their deaths clicking calls. These are the last rites of what would be our closest relative (like swimming) to consider.
This has not gone unnoticed. An attack on the necessary publicity and public outcry has met the fishermen and their great tradition. Many conservation, animal protection and environmental activists have swumthe adjutant of the dolphins. In an attempt to speak for themselves between the boat and the bottle-nose were many crossroads between the end of a spear and the end of their lives.
"So it was a traumatic experience that our values have been fiercely attacked by Western environmentalists and animal rights activists." S. Hamanaka, the mayor and the people of Taiji
If Mr Hamanaka-san is terrified by the ADO roaled touched by the waters of blood, you should avoidGeisha-like eyes down when the boats come into port, with fins and flippers, and the mercurial anger the international community.
This brings us to the great irony, symbolic gesture. If you like our, the dolphin proto-hand, under the pressure of water had taken all Darwanism fingers in the best people, you raise a lonely figure in these suicide illegal fishermen and their compatriots who purchase, consumption and being poisoned by the very flesh theyparticipating in the first heat.
ScienceDirect.com that under the Japanese Ministry of Health has found that mercury levels in the liver and other organs pleasant and popular "higher than permissible levels of about 5000 times and the consumption of only 0.15 g of liver and offers" the possibility of acute poisoning with T-Hg (mercury content), even after a single consumer product. "
Yes, the fishing village of Taiji isin a situation of clandestine satire. The act of browsing the nose of beliefs, conventions and customs, modern society, the literal death of them. Very truly poetic. To avert the collapse of their traditional fishing rights, are the villagers for killing dolphins, some of which spells death. If you were to see this as an outsider, if every man, woman and child on this miserable, hateful land not far wrong, wouldhailed as an ally of the most insane and suicidal risk Socaratic very fallible human history riddled.
However, in the words of the mayor, in his philosophy embraces an important message of Taiji, the approach of the International Whaling Commission and other critics of the massacre ... "We are proud of our heritage and wants to hand for future generations." (See mercury poisoning = no new-generation). "We believe we know more about our sea, someone who lives in Taijihundreds or thousands of miles away from us. "
Speaking for the dolphins posthumously, yet to be proven.

University of Maryland (UM) Terrapins (mounds) The soccer players taken in 2010 NFL Draft - 2 selected
College The University of Maryland (UM) Terrapins (mounds) football program has had two players in the 2010 NFL Draft, held in April. The school is located in College Park, Maryland had two athletes selected by the National Football League (NFL) franchise in the annual project and these two men:
Bruce Campbell (offensive lineman) - selected in the fourth round with the 106th pick by the Oakland Raiders
Nolan Carroll (cornerback) - collected in the fifth round ofMiami Dolphins as the 145th player selected overall
Maryland Terrapins compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and I am proud to be disciplined for sending young people to play football at the next level. For athletes such as Bruce Nolan and hear their names called during the NFL Draft is a dream come true and the University of Maryland is proud to play a role in turning those dreams into reality.
Bruce Campbell, born in 1988, is a 6'6 "314 pounds Offensive Lineman thatplayed tackle in high school and college, but it is expected that at least as a starting offensive lineman in the interior guard position with the Oakland Raiders. Despite the fact that the height to play offensive tackle the first reports of the Raiders who prefer Bruce comfortable in their attack on a position that lends itself to a smoother transition.
Campbell is expected to wear the number 74 next year for the Oakland Raiders NFL team and coach Tom Cable is excitedthe head of his fourth-round draft selection. Cable Coach Bruce hopes to get on the field early and often, as the Raiders for years have tried to cancel their offensive line to fill. Many analysts agree that the football because of the evils of the recent offensive of Oakland relief can be traced to a porous front five.
Arguably, Nolan Carroll, another University of Maryland 2010 NFL Draft selection, is in many ways an opposite type of player from hisformer teammate Bruce Campbell. Carroll plays offense and defense while Campbell plays, in addition, while Bruce has a huge 6'6 "314 pounds Nolan frame size is a lot of pedestrians 5'11" and 204 pounds.
Before being picked up by the Miami Dolphins to add youth and speed to their secondary Nolan grew up in Florida. Nolan Carroll was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida, in the north-eastern state. After spending five years inMaryland during his stint in college Nolan and his parents (who still live in Florida) are certainly excited to have him back in the Sunshine State.

The Cove, Ric O'Barry and Passion
The other day I saw the Oscar-winning film "The Cove" by Ric O'Barry, and first of all made me sick. It will also make you sick if you choose to view it.
But it also reminded me of when I saw the dolphins for the first time. In Mozambique.
I have a year of Nacala in northern Mozambique. It was 1991 and the country was still in civil war.
My goal this year of living in Mozambique, was to start three different projects with a groupof volunteers from different countries.
We started a school for street children, a health campaign and a school for illiterate adults. The project was co-linked so as to have contracts with local families who wanted to participate in our program. The idea was to send their children to school. If they did, would the children two meals a day, so that the family of some cost savings.
Families who wanted lavatories in the backyard, he would have received helpa building, if their children to the vaccination campaign and participate in our courses in health ... and so on. Something for something, right?
Well, what has to do with dolphins, then?
Well, read on.
That year I had the best office in the world ...
Each morning, the dawn, I was sitting in my office, listening to the song silent fishermen while they were in their bathtub canoes on their way to their daily catch -followed by dolphins.
The Oscar-winning film "The Cove".
The documentary is real and cruel, and if you need to get your thought on the capture of dolphins is good or bad, it's open eyes.
Another thing in this story caught my eye too. Ric's passion in his eyes when he told his story. I knew that. E 'was exactly the same passion and drive I felt before coming to Mozambique.
What about "The Cove"
An activistwith the name of Ric O'Barry is the heart and soul of "The Cove." The documentary follows his efforts to capture on film the horrific reality of what happens in a secret cove off the coast of Japan, where thousands of dolphins violently and unnecessarily lose their lives each year. Mr. O'Barry was the coach of the dolphins in the U.S. television show "Flipper," which was popular in 1960 and is largely responsible for creating the boomentertainment industry of captive dolphins inadvertently encourage this secret slaughter of dolphins.
are "why" - - In 1970, Mr. O'Barry a life-changing encounter with "Kathy", the dolphin had spent formative years of the TV series and now his passion and his only mission is to live a purpose abuse of these highly intelligent marine mammals.
A look at "The Cove" It 's clear that his "why" replaces all others. A man is not violent, the 'documentary shows him engaged in various behaviors that many of us would be embarrassed to consider:
* Cycling, walking, uninvited, through the corridors of the International Whaling top with a flat screen TV attached to his chest images is horrible massacres ...
* Thrown from the hotel in the middle of the night ...
* Relentless grilled in public sessions by local police ...
* Standing in the middle of a busy intersection in a big city for hours and hours of broadcastssituation an unsuspecting public ...
Whatever your opinion of his case, passion and commitment of Ric O'Barry is an enthusiasm for what is possible when the barriers between your lifestyle and your "WHY '" disappear. You see, the dolphin-hunting season opened in 2010 in early September and, while many dolphins were recorded for entertainment purposes, the slaughter of "waste" seems to have stopped as a direct result of 40 years, Ric O'Barry"Why".
Not everyone has yet to discover "why", which means that many are still stuck behind lofty goals and ambitions no emotional connection. And without that emotional connection, the effort turns out to be empty, useless and unfulfilling.
I had a passion for adding value to the Third World. That was what brought me from Norway to Mozambique as a volunteer. Me, a single mother with no money ... had to fight hard to achieve my goal. My passion combined with myregime made it impossible for me to stop or go back. This is what has made this possible.
I just read in a newspaper that 90% of children in third world countries now have primary education. And that 81% of children in the Third World has been vaccinated in the last 10 years. The success could not taste better.

Documentary "The Cove" says the slaughter of dolphins and marine parks
On March 7 the movie "The Cove" won an Oscar for best documentary. The documentary shows the massacre of thousands of dolphins every year as part of a unit of fishing that takes place in an isolated cove in Taiji, Japan. "The Cove" is a compelling story, after all, not to support a noble cause with the horrible injustice and a contrite hero showed a life of evil to save the dolphins?
If this sounds like a scenario for afiction thriller, it's because in more ways than one it is.
While the slaughter of dolphins in Taiji is very real, very Ric O'Barry past claims and the reasons behind the massacre of Taiji portrayed in "The Cove" is far from done. The film O'Barry as the original trainer "Flipper" turned anti-prison in 1970 after a dolphin on the TV series reported suicide in his arms.
Ricou Browning was the creator and producer of "Flipper." L 'Browning was not O'Barry and Flipper the dolphin which was the first. And according to Miami Seaquarium, Kathie's (Flipper's) death came at the end of a long illness, his death was not suicide.
Recently, in 1989, O'Barry continue to seek work in a structure of marine life. Since 1993, in an article in "Animal People" Captain Paul Watson wrote: "It 'was only after [Steve] Wynn O'Barry rejected the request for the establishment of a coach [1989], who criticized the O'BarryMirage. "
It is contradictory to past O'Barry mean "The Cove" The message is not valid? Of course not ... few could voluntarily ignore the brutal killing of one of the most beloved animals of the world, and this is exactly what the creators of "The Cove" for his confidence.
O'Barry and producer Louie Psihoyos hijacking the film a message to the days of not-so-hidden anti-zoo different from the real reasons behind the slaughter in Taiji promotion. "The Cove" conscious portrays a sinister link between the murders of Taiji and marine life parks in the United States that does not exist.
At 18:49 minutes into the film, O'Barry provides: "[Speaking of marine life parks] ... a billion dollar industry, and that captures all helped to create the largest slaughter of dolphins the planet. " Just then, we see the entrance to the Dolphin Cove, a marine park located in Key Largo, Florida. Ironically, Dolphin Cove in Key Largo has not> Dolphin slaughter in Taiji, nor has it ever. Dolphin Cove is not alone.
According to the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums, an association representing the major marine parks in the western hemisphere, none of their 44 members "have or to adopt animals from the driving [Taiji]." The fact is that the drive fishery in Taiji marine parks dating back almost 350 years. It 'started in 1606 as a fishing station the primary objective of dolphin meat, and laterwas a means of pest control. Why, then, "The Cove" claim that the massacre was carried out by marine parks?
Berkeley-based Earth Island Institute (EII) is behind the creation of "Cove. The" Over the past two decades, O'Barry acted as an accomplice of EII in their campaign to de facto control over marine zoo community, and the same control " certification that the EII for tuna industry with their advanced "Dolphin Safe" label. "The Cove" is O'Barry last EII and deception in this particular regime, only this time have provided a "Marine Park Dolphin Safe" label as "Oscar".
O'Barry and producers of "The Cove" for their moment of fame and EII also a toll on marine life parks in the process, but the results will not stop the dolphin slaughter in Taiji. As the evolution of awareness about the marine life of the United States, only education and changing values in the direction of> Dolphins and bring an end 350 years of hunting culture.
