Swim with dolphins in Key Largo

Key Largo, known as the diving capital of the world, is just an hour and a half from Miami International Airport. Key Largo is the first chain of Florida Keys and a perfect get-a-way for a longer holiday or day trip from Miami.

Key Largo is home to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, a spectacular underwater park. Professional charter captains can help the search for marlin, dolphin, wahoo or tuna just a few miles from the coast.

Dolphins can bestained a day in an area of sandy land about 10-15 feet deep where they are constantly moving in search of fish.

You can not swim with the dolphins here because the laws of the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 applies here, in addition to the laws of Florida. You can only watch the dolphins in a particular group for about 30 minutes from the boat about 50 meters, then, feeding, breeding, nursing their babies, etc., is not disturbed.

The law prohibitspursuing wild dolphins swim later, and touch them. If the dolphins approaching snorkeling (unlike you approach them) the law suggests that you come to enjoy the moment of conclusion and then go back to the boat.
