The Cove - Dolphin massacre

In a sleepy lagoon off the coast of Japan is a shocking secret that few desperate men will stop at nothing to keep hidden from the world. In Taiji, Japan, a former dolphin trainer Ric O'Barry has come to set things right after a long search for redemption. O'Barry was captured in 1960 and trained the five dolphins who played the title character in the international television sensation "Flipper." One fateful day, a broken heart Barry came to realize that this deeply sensitivehighly intelligent, sentient beings should never be subjected to slavery, the new man. This mission led him to Taiji, a town that seems to be dedicated to the wonders and mysteries of the subtle, dolphins and whales that swim off their coasts. But in an isolated area, the sparkling bay, surrounded by barbed wire and "Keep Out" signs, is a dark reality. It is here, under cover of night, the fishermen of Taiji, led by a multi-billion dollar entertainment industry and dolphinsa market conniving of mercury contaminated dolphin meat, in a hunting invisible. The nature of what they do is so cool and the consequences are so dangerous to human health that they go to extremes to get everyone to stop looking.
