So Much to See and Do From Oahu Vacation Rentals
There's just so much to see and do on Oahu besides Honolulu and Wakiki! Oahu vacation rentals are your best bet to explore the fascinating attractions which Oahu offers, such as Windward Oahu along the Kamehameha Highway. In Hawaii, windward refers to the eastern side of an island and leeward the western side. The prevailing winds in Hawaii blow east to west as opposed to the mainland where winds tend to blow west to east. Windward Oahu is the part of Oahu north of Makapuu Point all the way to Kahana Bay. The Kalanianaole Highway and Kamehameha Highway are the main roads that will take you close to all of the attractions on Windward Oahu. As you drive north on the Kalanianaole Highway past Makapuu Beach Park on your right and Rabbit and Turtle Islands off the shore, you will first come to Sea Life Park on your left. Much more commercialized than the Waikiki Aquarium, Sea Life Park is, nevertheless, a great place for a family outing. It's 300,000 gallon Hawaiian Reef Tank is filled with more than 2,000 species of fish. Other exhibits feature penguins, sea birds, sea lions, and the Whaler's Cove which is home to the park's dolphins and whales. With ongoing shows throughout the day, Sea Life Park remains one of Oahu's most popular attractions.
As you wind your way north from where you rent house Oahu and eventually come to the Kamehameha Highway, watch for the Kahekili Highway. The Kahekili Highway parallels the Kamehameha Highway but is a bit inland. If you take this road you will come to the Valley of Temples and the Byodo-In Temple. This temple is a precise replica in concrete of a 900 year old temple in Uji, Japan. The grounds of the temple are lovely. Chances are you'll see a wedding either going on or about to begin. After you rejoin the Kamehameha Highway you'll come to the intersection of Pulama Road. Up the road to the left you'll find the plantation and gardens of Senator Hiram Fong, which was opened to the public in 1988. Proceeding north on the Kamehameha Highway you will pass Mokolii Island, more popularly known as Chinaman's Hat, for obvious reasons. Before you reach the town of Laie and the North Shore of Oahu, you'll come to Kualoa Ranch. Most famous for the scene in Jurassic Park where actor Sam Neill runs for his life to escape a stampede of dinosaurs, Kualoa Ranch is not well known to most visitors. The ranch offers over 15 outdoor activities including ATVs, target shooting, helicopter rides and a ranch and movie set tour. Many choose just to relax at Secret Island, the ranch's secluded beach.
On Oahu's North Shore, apart from the amazing beaches where some of the world's largest surfing competitions are held annually, the area from Laie to Haleiwa is best known for two major attractions, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Waimea Valley Adventure Park. In Laie you will find the Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaii's most popular privately owned attraction. Here you will find re-created villages of seven Polynesian cultures, Fiji, the Marquesas, New Zealand, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga and Hawaii. Representatives of these island cultures share their culture, their art and their dance. Activities abound at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The afternoon canoe pageant is a popular attraction as is the evening luau and show. If a drive to Laie is too far for you, there are many tour companies offering round trip bus transportation and admission from your hotel in Waikiki. After rounding the northern tip of Oahu, the Kamehameha Highway eventually makes its way to the town of Waimea, home to Waimea Valley Adventure Park. Owned the same company that runs Sea Life Park, Waimea Valley Adventure Park offers displays of cliff diving, hula, Hawaiian music as well as a nature center and adventure center including paintball and mountain biking. When planning your Oahu vacation, whether seeking a Hawaii villa, condo, or beachfront rental, call on the Hawaii experts - us! - for the latest information on the most popular Oahu attractions.

Cheap Hotels in Jamaica
Take advantage of the low priced deals when you are planning for your Jamaica vacations, stay in cheap hotels and get to visit more attractions.
It is not surprising these days, to find a large number of travelers who want to save on their holiday costs. In fact, vacationers are anxiously searching for the best deals which would enable them to secure reservations for cheap hotels in Jamaica and minimize the travel budget.
We all know that a luxurious holiday spent at Ritz Carlton Resort in Montego Bay or perhaps the Strawberry Hill Resort in Kingston can be pricey and would leave you with no money to visit places like the Bob Marley Museum.
So, under these circumstances it would be best to select a hotel that would be within your budget and leave you with sufficient money to visit attractions or do some shopping.
It is a good thing that by utilizing the internet in this day and age, it is possible for travelers to find cheap hotels anytime they want to visit exotic destinations such as the Caribbean islands. In addition, due to the fact that Jamaica is said to be the most popular tourist destination in this region, you are certain to get travel packages at a more affordable price.
So, instead of setting your sights on a five star resort like Sandals Royal in Ironshore opt for Hotel Gloriana, which is in close proximity to Sangster's International airport and the popular hip strip area just the same.
In the past travelers used to think that it is a hard task to find a cheap hotel property in Jamaica. But, I am pretty sure that by the time you finish reading this article, you will realize the many options are available.
The overabundance of travel websites have created a one stop shopping village for persons who are looking for deals. Just by spending a short time on the internet you will be provided with offers for cheap hotels in Jamaica, promotions for attractions such as Dolphins Cove in Ocho Rios and absolutely any tourist related information that you will require about this beautiful island.
You will find that the travel websites provide you with an area to make your reservations easier, in less time and take advantage of inexpensive holiday packages. However, to get the best deal or make the right hotel selection, it would be better do research the options carefully and compare the different rates.
Traveling to Jamaica in the off peak season will provide you with a lot more options, so you have to ensure that the hotel rates advertised for a Treasure Beach in St Elizabeth, would be cheaper than the hotels that you will find in the popular holiday spot of Montego Bay and Negril.
So, take advantage of the convenient internet tools and take your time reviewing all the offers before making your final decision. It is important that you get what you really want when you are traveling on a Jamaican vacation. You don't have to select a cheap motel in unsuitable areas, just because you are traveling on a strict budget.
If this is your first trip to the island, make use of the maps on the travel website to learn about the hotels, the surrounding area and the attractions and activities that would be closest. This way, it is impossible for you to pick the Hotel Villa Bella on the South Coast and then spend a fortune in order to enjoy the popular attractions on the North Coast.
This is not to say that you cannot have fun on the South Coast, but if you want to visit the popular hot spots in Jamaica, the North Coast accommodations are a must. You will find places such as Dolphin Cove, Zip line Adventures, Dunn's River Falls, Chukka Adventures and much more.

Cheap Cabins and Devon Beaches - Holiday on a Budget
The credit crunch meant that many people cut back on luxuries, saving money where they could and hunting for bargains. But just because money's tight you don't have to completely write off your annual holiday.
Save money this year by holidaying in Britain instead of jetting off abroad. There are cheap cabins of varying sizes you can rent for very reasonable prices, and if you pick your location well and are lucky with the weather, you could be forgiven for thinking you were actually abroad once you reach your destination.
South East Devon in the South West of England has some particularly stunning beaches and scenery, and is full of cheap cabins to stay in, so if you like the idea of trying out a different beach all day, read on!
Exmouth
Exmouth beach is huge; two miles of golden sand and little rock pools for exploring. In peak seasons, you can expect to find all of the traditional seaside favourites for the family, including Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides.
Some stretches of Exmouth beach pose a danger to swimmers; be sure to always heed the advice denoted on signs and never swim somewhere you are told not to.
You'll also find water sports at Exmouth beach and plenty to do for a day as there's lots of amenities.
Coryton Cove
Coryton Cove offers safe bathing for families, although it isn't actually patrolled by any lifeguards. Children will love exploring the rocks pools for sea life and no one can fail to be charmed by the tiny secret beaches which you can only reach by passing through tunnels dug in the cliffs.
Dogs are banned from Coryton Cove in the peak seasons, and there have been numerous dolphin sightings there in the past.
Dawlish Warren
Dawlish Warren is a beautiful sandy beach with inland dunes and water sports. This beach is patrolled by lifeguards and the sea here has a relatively calm current, meaning it's safe for family bathing, and it's also gained the blue flag award.
You can hire equipment for jet skiing at this beach should you have a real sense of adventure!
There are so many beaches in this region that you really are spoilt for choice. Staying in cheap cabins means that you can enjoy a beach holiday on a budget, without spending more than you need to. Cater for yourself and take picnics with you each day as you explore the many delights of Devon!

Benidorm - Spanish Holidays Around The Costa Blanca
Benidorm, which is located just 20 minutes north of the city of Alicante on the Costa Blanca coast Spain, is such as action-packed city. Even though it has a beautiful stretch of soft sandy beaches, we should leave this leisure activity for the end because there are so many kinds of tourist parks to visit around Benidorm.
The biggest Attraction around Benidorm: Terra Mitica
This park in English is called ´Mythical Land´, because it is a theme park which takes us back to the ancient civilizations of Rome, Egypt and Greece, all of which were Mediterranean civilizations. As we all know, the heroes from those times were very brave, not letting anything or anyone frighten them. Do you think you will be like them after having ridden on the topsy turvy roller coaster? Or controlling your heartbeat after riding on many of the other attractions especially set up for you? Maybe you think you will recover a little after watching one of the gladiator shows? Your adrenalin will be pumping fast with all the professional actors making ancient life come so close to you. There is also a part of this park for adventurous kids too. Terra Mitica is open all year round; from November to April it is only open at the weekends and on Spanish holidays. The entrance fee is approximately 40 euros but if you go in groups consult prices. Terra Mitica is found just five minutes north of Benidorm, easily accessible by bus or car.
Aqualandia Water Amusement Park
So you want to cool down a little but the beach is not your cup of tea? Here at Aqualandia you can enjoy a days outing with the whole family. The children can slide down all the water slides as many times as they wish, always being well cared for by the lifeguards on duty. There are water shutes of every size, diving board areas, rapidly moving waters and even a black hole. For the sun beauties like mum and grandma, you can lay around on comfortable hammocks and enjoy a picnic lunch in the shaded areas. It is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is located on the north entrance hillside to Benidorm.
Another view on the Costa Blanca at the Terra Natura Park
This is not like any other wildlife park. Here, there are four theme areas and a water park. 1.500 animals of over 200 species, 50 of which are in danger of extinction. What a privilege to be the lucky ones to see these living specimens up close! And not only these animals but their natural habitats and fauna which makes their living quarters appropriate for them. As you enter the park, the first area to visit is the Pangea, taking you back in time to hen there were rivers petrified from hot burning lava, abundant vegetation hiding gigantic insects and many other surprises. To the left you are carried away to America, discovering an old mine converted into a tropical farm. The colorful macaws are found in the dove cove and later on the old joins the new in the colonial town of Copaltenango. In the center is Asia.
As you stroll through the natural reserve of Kaziranga, you are able to see rhinoceros, buffalos and the temple of the wildcats. In this section there is a marvelous park for children to play in. And last, but of course not least, is Europe. In the town of Kalicameni, white-washed and full of comedians and natives singing their local songs. All this may sound tiring, but there are many a new food to be tried and a thirst-quenching drink to be had at any of the fabulous restaurants. And for those who need an extra thrill, in the Mare Nostrum waterway, you are fully equipped to have splash with live sharks! Terra Natura is open all year round, offering special passes for those who know how to appreciate a good opportunity and to take advantage of it as often as possible.
Benidorm and the Doliphins at the Mundomar Marine Animal Park
Do you enjoy the water and its interesting animal kingdom but prefer to be on land? Then Mundomar (Seaworld) Marine Animal park is your best bet. All of us have read adventure stories about dolphins and feel that they are our friends, well it's time to visit them. Here we can see the silly antics of these adorable sea creatures close up. Or chat up a conversation with the colourful parrots. The elegance and grace is personified with the exhibition of flamingos, so pink! Who has not had a turtle in their home as a pet, but to see ones that you could probably ride is another surprise. But, are you still even more curious and want to see what the marine world is like under the water. Well, we can all become Ariel, or Sebastian as in the Little Mermaid book and go down into a ship and have a look around the sea bottom. Refreshments and resting places are abundant. It is open at 10:00 a.m., adults are 18 euros, children 3-12 years old 12 euros and under 3 are free. The entrance is near the cross roads of Avenue Mediterranean and Avenue Europe. Do not miss this amazing experience!
Between Pego and Oliva: The Vergel Park
If your travels have taken you along the coast heading towards Valencia, then it would be well worth making a stop off highway A-7 exit no. 61 which indicates the towns of Pego and Oliva and just follow the signs to this safari park, found near Ondara. There are all kinds of wild animals to be touched, fed and observed. For a little extra fun time activity, the kids can let their hair fly in the wind when riding a go kart, mini train or ponies. There are even some marine animals like dolphins and sea lions. It is a relaxing and educational day excursion for the whole family. It is only open in the summer from 10:00 in the morning til 7:00 in the evening.
Cactuslandia
Once again, you do not have to hire a camel and head into the dry desert to appreciate the wide selection of over 1000 cactus plants and similar shrubs. This is a private garden created by a German who was and is interested in the theme of cactii and tropical plants like banana trees, papaya, and mango. Also on this 3000m2 rugged hillside surface is an amazing museum which he put together and includes an extensive collection shells, different colored corals, unusual insects from all over the world and even some fossils.
Looking at this huge selection of theme parks and tourist attractions around Benidorm and the Costa Blanca, you certainly will find your favourite one on your next holidays around the spanish coast. Make your stay in Benidorm a complete one and visit each and every one, all unique.

Puerto Vallarta On The Mexican Riviera
Puerto Vallarta is an old seaside city located on the Bay of Banderas which is the largest natural bay on the Mexican coast. The city has a population of over 250,000 and is growing fast as an important tourist destination. It is actually several destinations in one with many interesting places to visit in the States of Nayarit and Jalisco.
Several major highways lead to the city and major airlines from all over the world now fly into the international airport. The 450 vessel marina assures that people will be visiting Banderas Bahia throughout the year. Puerto Vallarta is located on the same latitude as Hawaii and so it enjoys a similar sun drenched tropical climate.
Fifty years ago this city was nothing more than a small village on the Mexican coast. There was some small industry here and most of the business was centered on agriculture. Then some movie makers from the United States took notice and big things began to happen to this little village. John Huston decided to make "Night of the Iguana" in the area of Puerto Vallarta and several stars began to make regular trips here. It wasn't long before Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor had purchased Casa Kimberly in Puerto Vallarta and John Huston had a home built in the in the small cove of Caletas where he lived until his death.
Many of the Mexican people began to travel to Puerto Vallarta for their vacations because of the huge protected bay and the mild weather. People from all over the U. S. began to hear of the city snuggled between the bay with palm lined beaches and the lush tropical jungle with towering trees on the sides of the coastal mountains. The city has seen tremendous growth and now is able to offer international travelers a flavor of old Mexico right next door to beautiful new hotels and resorts. We easily could have spent several days there but on a cruise you usually only get a half a day at each port of call.
Tours and Activities
If you would like to save a few dollars it is advisable to shop around for your tour arrangements. The cruise ships try to convince you that it would be safer if you book your tours through them but you will of course have to pay higher fees when you take advantage of their offers.
There was so much to see in Puerto Vallarta and our party went off in several different directions. First there was a city tour that took us through the older district near the waterfront. Then we headed out to the country to learn how tequila is made. After we finished learning about the process we were able to taste several varieties of tequila liqueurs. It sure was a great way to work up an appetite before we were served a traditional dinner and treated to local dancing and music. Everyone who took part in the tequila sampling seemed to have a great afternoon.
A more adventurous part of the group went sailing on the Pirate Boat and had a blast being entertained all afternoon by the singing and dancing pirates. There were mutinies and sword fights, plenty to eat and drink and even a little time to go snorkeling. Then I headed out by myself on the back of an open truck with 14 other people from the cruise ship we arrived on. After a 45 minute ride into the mountains all 15 of us got the thrill of our lives as we tried the Canopy Adventure and rode cables from one treetop to another as we worked our way back down the side of a mountain. I would recommend this trek to anyone and it was worth every bit of the $75.00 it cost each of us.
Opportunities abound here especially for the outdoor adventurer. Activities include horseback rides in the mountains, diving in the Pacific, swimming with the dolphins, and Interactive tours with the indigenous cultures that are in the surrounding areas. Puerto Vallarta is a world class sports fishing destination and Marina Mismaloya offers a wide range of fishing adventures in the surrounding Pacific costal waters. Puerto Vallarta tends to be a perfect blend of tropical waters and rich Mexican culture and this is certainly one of the most diverse beach destinations in the world. You find yourself close to the lush jungle vegetation with hidden waterfalls on the one hand and miles of beautiful beaches on the largest natural harbor on the Mexican coast. The perfect place to learn, relax, have fun and take in the numerous natural wonders.
