How snorkeling can help your business

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Recently I visited Hawaii for the first time there was a lot of "firsts" for the trip, including snorkeling. Some friends and I were in a bay of absolute beauty, where the water was perfectly clear, and there was what looked like thousands of colorful fish and corals. We were going to kayak out there pass (another first) and a pack of dolphins.

The fact is that I never thought too much to snorkel in one way or another, because I am a fairly strong swimmer, until II was really standing on some rocks wet with my fins and tried to maneuver in water without relying on sea urchins and corals. To make things even more complicated, because the amount of coral, it was really no way at the lowest level, if it is water.

Fortunately, I snorkeled before, and friends were able to give me some advice. The most important advice was to relax. "

It took me a while '. I ended up coughing and choking in a quantity of seawaterI finally understood what I had to do - what really put my head down to stop the fighting and breathing apparatus.

In other words, relax.

So what does all this with your company in? Sometimes you need to relax in your company as well.

Many of us have our businesses, because we do not want someone to work the other and we wanted to do what we love. Probably we wanted to set our own hours and control over our destiny.

While this is allvery well, running a business is not only the result of your company. For example, my text and business marketing, is not only my skills as a copywriter and marketing consultant. And 'even know myself, how to manage a successful business.

When I realized this, scares me. What I have to business? I've never been a course of business in my life.

But the more I have, the more I realized that I had a talent for directing and managing a business. And Ialso realized the more I relaxed, the best of me.

When I dressed and did everything I knew and did not know the concerns was that if I was more likely to make mistakes too. But just relax and enjoy the ride, it was easier and more fun.

And I had relaxed a step further. When I started to delegate, I was nervous. If the job is done, or not always? I woke in the middle of the night to ask if the tasks are not completed or not. Then I wondered if I would be the person who reviewed it - I must get up e-mail or call in the morning or I'm paranoid?

Once again, I learned to relax and things happen, and it all started, in order to join. Believe that the opportunities tabs on tasks (without micro-management, and allows me) to sleep at night.

If you try to start the study of other millionaires and successful business people, we see a lot of them commercially as fun or as a game. You benefitand how to manage their business (or businesses). And perhaps one of the reasons that have been so successful.

Relax but especially when I started thinking about running my business, that when he was much more fun.

Until Liamuiga - Climbing the Sleeping Giant of St. Kitts

To my right, the hills rolled along, gently rising in the rain forest on the slopes of the mountain. But this is no ordinary mountain, this is Liamuiga, an extinct volcano on the island of St. Kitts. The last eruption was about 1600 years, with possibility of eruptions in the 17 unconfirmed and 19 Century. I was hoping that the sleeping giant, they would not choose to wake up that day.

The wheel Royston Stevens, of Royston Tours, sat our friendly and knowledgeable guide for this adventure. Iriding shotgun in his safari-style vehicle that I feel as if I were on an expedition. Follow us, my wife and another couple we met on our holiday. While driving along the coastal road winding Royston showed us many beautiful views of the coast and the interior of St. Kitts.

Once arrived at the base of the mountain, drew attention to a high rock above. We tried, and there, wrapped in a touch of gray cloud, was a strangely shaped rock perched on the precariousRIM volcano. His voice said in a relaxing Caribbean Royston: "That's where we're going to walk today."

I gulped.

We turned off the main road on a rough road that we have senior fields of sugar cane. On the edge of the rainforest we parked and got out, anticipating the adventure of a lifetime. Mount Liamuiga the highest mountain is about 3,800 meters. Our journey began at 1000 meters, we were only about 2,000 meters below the highest peaks to climb. Only.

We enjoyed a moderate increaseon the lower slopes, under the banyan trees, many varieties of palm trees, vines and more than a Tarzan movie. We learned about the local fauna, as Mungo the British introduced the population control snake. Unfortunately mongoose also ate eggs of tropical birds. Currently there are no snakes or parrots on the island, but with a lot of mongooses.

The slope is increased dramatically, as we approached the cone of the volcano. We climbed over roots and rocks that make up friendly for our excursion. Our friend Toddreached the first summit with Royston, and a rush of adrenaline pushed me further and further behind the others. We did it! The strong wind cooled my face as I have seen in a crater of green grass, like an old garden.

I looked down and saw Eden increasing clouds and the fall, then reveals hiding the ridge opposite. The giant volcano seemed to breathe. At first I was afraid to climb a volcano, but when I was at the height of the mountain. Last Liamuiga my fear, reverence and respect. We stayed for a while ',enjoy the view and the incredibly fresh, clean air.

Too soon we began our descent on the steep, rugged terrain, including the resumption of casual pace on the lower slopes. We stopped watching vervet monkeys swinging through the trees and underbrush. More men were sitting on high branches, watching us closely.

Finally we reached the car. I glanced at Royston, and was surprised to see that he and only he had a pleasant stroll, while the rest of us seemas we had, well ... climbed a volcano.

Along the road through the areas of pipe, we were surprised by a resounding "Mooo!" A cow had not noticed, we've been waiting to take us to the release of his farewell speech. It seemed a fitting end to our wonderful time with nature.

Yes, goodbye Liamuiga. Thank you for the adventure and memories.
